Bike MS cyclist rides atop billboard

Yesterday, an Atlanta cyclist rode his bike in an unusual location - atop a billboard. While ABC has two grant-funded "I'm on that bike" billboards, we never took it as far as the good people behind the Bike MS Cox Atlanta ride! This year, we are pleased to announce that the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign is developing a partnership with Bike MS as the ride's education partner. We look forward to developing a strong relationship that will help put more people on bikes while addressing this serious illness.

Confident Cycling. The name says it all. This class was designed to help folks get back on the bike and ride safely and confidently around metro Atlanta. All that traffic isn't going away overnight, so this class helps you deal with it while staying healthy and having fun. There are four classes coming up in July:

Confident City Cycling classes

  • Would you like to ride a bicycle in metro Atlanta but feel unsure of where to ride or how to do so safely and confidently?
  • Do you wish you knew more about the rules to follow, how to avoid crashes, and what to do in case of a flat tire?
  • Do you want to gain enough knowledge to teach your children to ride carefully and wisely on their own?

The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign's Confident City Cycling classes can give you the confidence you need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail, or to teach your children to do so.

Stay tuned for a class schedule to appear later this week.
