Ride of Silence 2008 ride start in Piedmont Park

Thanks to the organizing efforts of Maigh Houlihan with the assistance of Jett Marks, Atlanta's installment of the 2008 international Ride of Silence drew almost three dozen participants yesterday. Jett is pictured here near the center of a panorama (stitched from 9 individual photographs) speaking to the assembled group at the Charles Allen Drive entrance to Piedmont Park as he and others took turns reflecting on cycling comrades who had been killed or injured on public roadways.
