We love bikes, and so do the bands who volunteered to play at this benefit concert! Come on out to hear the Nerd Parade, Lexi Street, and Sunday Drive Bye. Tickets are $5 at the door and all proceeds will go to support our advocacy work to make it safer and easier to ride bikes. Put your foot down. Courteous Mass combines the freewheeling fun of Critical Mass with a focus on following road rules. Because if we want drivers to share the road, stop at red lights, and give us 3 feet when passing, it strengthens our argument if people who ride bikes follow the rules too. The first Atlanta Courteous Mass had a great turnout but took a long time to go 10 miles -- this route will be about half as long, but take the same lighthearted yet safety-conscious approach to biking. If you want to put your foot down for a balanced transportation system, join us August 15th! Riders will gather at Woodruff Park starting at 6 pm and take off at 6:30. People new to riding bikes are very welcome. | ||
