&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Atlanta Bicycle Campaign to Establish Consistent Regional Bicycle Count and Document Trends in First of Biannual Effort&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ATLANTA – June 24, 2008 –&lt;/strong&gt; The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign today announced that it is conducting the first ever bicycle count to establish a baseline against which to measure future bicycling populations in the city of Atlanta. This count will kick off a recurring project to show whether cycling is rising or falling in the city. The bicycle counts will begin today and run through July 1, 2008 and will represent the first in a biannual data-gathering effort.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ATLANTA – June 24, 2008 –&lt;/strong&gt; The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign announces that it is designing a bicycle-powered float for the 2008 Atlanta Pride Celebration Parade, a first in Atlanta Pride history. Four experienced cyclists will pull a float sporting a display educating the public on the need for a 3 feet safe passing law, and encouraging drivers and cyclists alike to share the road. The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign’s  Share the Road project aims to educate drivers and cyclists on how to share the road legally and safely.&lt;/p&gt;

From 7 to 9 a.m. at Edgewood and Bradley streets (near Thumbs Up Diner) free bagels, coffee and happy faces will greet bicyclists making their way to work, to a greener Atlanta, and to healthier lives.
